The brief

Persuade donors to support LSBU’s ambitious philanthropic goals.

Namely, raising £15m – and positively impacting on 1 million lives – by 2025.

The response

Working with LSBU’s creative agency, my task was to take a dry, hundred-page strategic report – titled ‘Our 2020 vision’ – and turn it into an emotive, persuasive fundraising case for support.

I used the phrase No barriers to brilliance to frame the piece, and to create a consistent thread throughout the copy.

The results

LSBU loved it. So much so that they’ve since adopted No barriers to brilliance as the banner for all their fundraising and philanthropic efforts.
